Anti-Corrosion and Rope Access Services for Industry
We provide qualified painters and site supervisors who understand the realities of working on industrial facilities, near ongoing assembly activities and operating installations. All rope access work is carried out by IRATA Level 1 and Level 2 technicians and is coordinated and supervised by a rescue-qualified IRATA Level 3 technician. For each task, we prepare a risk assessment and a rescue plan.
We use our own storage containers designed specifically for the storage and mixing of paints. These containers are equipped with ATEX-compliant heating, ventilation, and lighting systems, and their construction protects the environment from contamination.
We operate power tools, machines, personal protective equipment, and height access gear adapted to the specific nature of our work and suitable for use in industrial environments.
At every stage of cooperation, we provide our knowledge and experience in selecting coating systems and surface preparation methods. Depending on the project requirements, we choose solutions that are optimal for the client in terms of quality, cost, and execution time — including surface treatment methods, coating application techniques and paint systems.
We actively participate in work coordination. Our site managers communicate with construction management and assembly teams, continuously planning our activities. We monitor ongoing assembly works, identify upcoming areas for action, and do not wait for the client to point them each time.
We carry out post-assembly repairs, protect covered surfaces and assembly joints. When possible, we use scaffolding; when not — rope access or mobile platforms. We apply all commonly used coating systems and prepare surfaces for painting to any required level of cleanliness and roughness.
Depending on the project requirements, we perform local repairs or complete coating restoration using abrasive blasting and airless spray application. For this purpose, we use specially prepared temporary workshops that allow the work to be carried out without negative impact on the environment.
In most cases, clients request the repair of anti-corrosion coating damage only at the commissioning and testing stage, just before handover. Based on our experience, repairs carried out on an ongoing basis are easier, faster, and therefore significantly more cost-effective.
Covered surfaces are present in every project, and their proper protection is crucial for maintaining effective corrosion resistance. Improperly protected contact areas between load-bearing structural elements or surfaces later covered with thermal insulation represent a common issue — one that can be prevented.
As with coating damage repairs, the issue of corrosion protection for welded joints is usually requested only at the commissioning and testing stage, just before handover. Applying anti-corrosion protection to the welding joint immediately after welding and quality control requires less effort, making the process easier, faster, and therefore significantly more cost-effective.
It is not uncommon for components delivered to the construction site by external suppliers to fail to meet corrosion protection requirements. In most cases, there is no time to initiate a complaint procedure, and the component must be installed, postponing the repair of the protective coating. With appropriate technical facilities, such components can be repaired in the laydown area before installation begins.
The vast majority of assembly work is carried out using scaffolding erected specifically for this purpose. We can take advantage of its presence, increasing only the rental cost, while gaining easy access to surfaces requiring corrosion protection. The cost of performing the same anti-corrosion protection using existing scaffolding is significantly lower than when rope access is required.
Newly built power plants, flue gas treatment units, factories, and other industrial facilities are investments whose execution can be optimized and costs reduced through well-selected solutions in the field of anti-corrosion coating repair.
